Psalm 25 is a heartfelt prayer of trust, guidance, forgiveness, and hope. In the midst of uncertainty, distress, and opposition, David turns his eyes toward God and declares that his confidence rests in the Lord alone. He asks God to show him the right path, teach him His truth, and lead him with mercy and love. Acknowledging his sins and shortcomings, David seeks forgiveness while resting in God's faithfulness and grace.
